Attempted this hike mid summer with the wife. It packs a punch and we only made it halfway past staircase falls. Trail conditions super overgrown and hard going will def attempt again without my dogs.

In the 1970's my Dad's friend ( who used to take the airboat out for the weekend in the Everglades & camp with other people in the swamp) Came back early from a weekend trip, saying they have seen the " skunkape" ,,, This guy wouldn't lie , and definitely not about something like that, and there were plenty of witnesses.. lol..I believe.. I've never seen anything that I couldn't identify or explain.. ( on the ground that is , in the Everglades you can see plenty of orange lights and other strange UAP,, UFO stuff.. it's not a regular place..

Thats quite a river to start on lol. Few years ago i watched a younger guy eat it, they get demolished by a raft on the ocoee. I talked to him and it was his first week kayaking lol. Ended up seeing him a few months later, just going down by himself. He definitely dedicated himself to kayaking.

This was fun to make. Inspiration came from Bren Orton's video linked in the description.
